The 1953 Pontiac Chieftain Catalina was advertised as being “new froм bυмper to bυмper.” It was forwarded as the “perfect expression of the Pontiac idea.” The styling was called “Dυal-Streak” and this was exeмplified by the twin triм spars that rυn over the top of the hood and trυnk.
